This all began with a single shelf.

When my son was little, my dad and I built his very first Montessori shelf together in a garage with minimal tools, assembling on a ping pong table, Haha.

My dad’s guidance and passion for woodwork is what inspired me. He showed me what it means to create something real. Something that lasts. Watching my son explore that shelf changed everything for me. It made me realise how powerful a piece of furniture can be when it is made with love and purpose.

From that moment, woodworking became more than a hobby. It became a way to honour where I come from and build a future for my son.

I started with children’s furniture through Handcrafted Montessori. Helping families create beautiful spaces that support independence and learning. Now with Warner and Son Crafted Timber we are building the next chapter. Creating dining tables that gather families together for generations. Outdoor pieces that weather the seasons. Furniture that becomes a part of the home and holds memories over time.
